Job Description

Kelburn Recruitment are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to work for a long-standing Client in the North Tyneside area. The Quality Inspector role is offered on an immediately permanent basis with a £28,000 salary and benefitting from alternativeFridays off in addition to 25 days annual leave (plus stats).As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our Client’s commitment to delivering quality products to customers. You will work closely with the warehouse team, be responsible for checking goods in and ensuring that they meet qualitystandards. Your attention to detail and expertise in quality control procedures will be instrumental in upholding their reputation for excellence and reliability.Role and Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of incoming pipes, fittings, and other products to verify their compliance with established quality standards, industry specifications, and customer requirements.
Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests on products to assess their conformity to technical specifications and quality guidelines.
Identify and document any non-conformities, defects or discrepancies and report them to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
Collaborate closely with the warehouse team to ensure efficient workflow and accurate documentation of inspection results.
Maintain accurate records of inspections including test reports, inspection logs and related documentation.
Monitor and enforce adherence to safety regulations and quality assurance protocols within the warehouse environment.
Communicate effectively with suppliers engineers or other relevant stakeholders regarding quality-related issues or concerns.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of quality control principles methodologies inspection techniques.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards specifications.
Excellent attention-to-detail systematic approach problem-solving.
Ability to interpret technical drawings specifications and product requirements.
Solid communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations best practices within a warehouse setting.
