Job Description

Delighted to be assisting our successful manufacturing client with their search for a Graduate Project Engineer based in Northumberland.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate looking to start their engineering career with the support and guidance of senior engineers along the way. The ideal candidate will be expected to support multiple areas of engineering projects whilst receivingtraining in order to develop those skills and progress to become an establish Project Engineer in their own right.By receiving full training and guidance, you will gain hands on experience which will gradually increase with responsibility as well. You will need to be process driven, with a proactive and practical approach to tasks.Some of the main responsibilities include:

To help develop and improve engineering processes and procedures
Successfully liaise between both internal and external Teams as required
Support the Managers in maintaining and managing multiple projects including process improvements and support to customers
Assist with the scheduling of specific engineering tasks and projects, ensuring to stay within the allocated timelines
To present and inform customers of all findings via reports and presented proposals
Provide much needed feedback on any manufacturing or design issues that may occur

Skills required for the role:

Competent use Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Fantastic communication skills as you will be interacting with multiple Teams and customers
Efficient time management and effectively able to prioritise your workload
Ability to work well within a Team environment but also able to work well on your own
Able to undertake international business travel as and when required
Ideally a HND or/and a Bachelors degree in engineering, project management or any related discipline is preferred
