Job Description

Job DescriptionTitle: Accounts ManagerHours: Full time- immediate startPay: NegotiableType: Permanent - EmployedLocation: Needwood, StaffordshireOverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic self motivated individual to join a small but busy building and interiors company.The main focus of this role will be the data input and running of the Sage accounts. A strong background and experience with Sage is therefore essential. Important Note:As Sage knowledge is an essential part of the job role, we will unfortunately not be accepting applications from those without current Sage experience.Full time - Mon- Fri 9am - 5pmRole and responsibilities

  • Managing the accounts processes from start to finish
  • Inputting all receipts and invoices into Sage
  • Running regular Sage reporting
  • Preparation for VAT returns & Year End
  • Inputting CIS wages and running CIS returns monthly
  • Resolution of queries and taking appropriate action
  • Creating spread sheets and reports
  • Corresponding with suppliers and contractors
  • Purchase Order processing
  • Creating client quotes and invoices
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Skills & Knowledge
  • Experience of Sage accounts software - essential
  • Experience with CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) pay an advantage
  • PC Literate with good working knowledge of Excel spread sheets including formula & tables.
  • Conversant with Email protocols
  • High level of written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrate high level of customer service
  • Ability to provide feedback to directors on current activities

  • An ability to engage with the team on day to day operations; identify and understand requirements of the business; to act on learnt knowledge
