Job Description

TO START IMMEDATELYThis is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving team at a long standing family business in Nazeing, specialising in the CNC machining and fabrication of bespoke plastic products. Working with a variety of large industries including Automotive, Medical, Defence and Security, and even Film and TV industries. Quantities range from design prototypes to small batch and production quantities, some of which repeat on a regular basis.The duties will include;

  • Using Edge-cam to produce tool paths for machine tools
  • Setting of variety of manual and CNC routers, mills and lathes
  • Machining and inspection of parts
  • Laser cutting and Engraving
  • Secondary operations - drilling taping polishing etc.
    • With opportunities to learn other skills and programs as you develop.The applicant will need to demonstrate;
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Good mathematical ability
  • Experience of CAM packages, machine setting and operation
  • The ability to work with minimum supervision, whilst paying attention to detail
  • The ability to work as part of a team
    • We are located in Nazeing Essex, near to Broxbourne railway stationTypical working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with opportunity to do overtime.We operate an ISO 9001 Quality control system.Preference will be given to local applicants or those that have a relatively easy commute Required skills
