Plastic CNC Machinist and Programmer EssexVariations: Experienced & Entry LevelSalary: £10.50 - £14.75 subject to experience + overtime rate ( plenty of overtime hours on offer each month)CNC Machinist and Programmer - Role:We currently have an opportunity for a CNC machine operator. Candidates looking to apply should have knowledge or an educational background in engineering, or experience working with CAD/CAM packages, machine setting and operation.Entry level candidates with a work history in CNC machining will have an advantage, however this is not essential.This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding plastic manufacturing team at a reputable business in Nazeing, specialising in the CNC machining of bespoke plastic products.CNC Machinist and Programmer - The duties will include;

CNC machine setting and operation - Datron, Fanuc, Hurco, Eagle
Using CAM/CAD programs to program CNC tool paths - Edgecam, Fusion360/Autodesk
Machining and inspection of parts
Secondary operations - drilling, taping, polishing etc.

The CNC Machinist and Programmer will need to demonstrate;

Good written and verbal communication
Be conscientious and driven
Good mathematical ability
An understanding of CAD/CAM programs
The ability to work with minimum supervision, whilst paying attention to detail
The ability to work as part of a team

We are located in Nazeing Essex, near to Broxbourne railway stationTypical working hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with opportunity to do regular overtime - overtime rate of 1.5/1.25 applied to hours over 151/month.
