Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join their teambased in Epping. This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis in return for a competitive salary of £18,135 per annum (£9.30 per hour) and sleep ins £73.89.The Support Worker role: The scheme consists of a three bedroom bungalow, which one bedroom is within its own annex. Living room three bathrooms 2 are wet room?s kitchen and utility room.Our client support 3 customers here each on a 1-1 basis with all of their day to day support needs, such as personal care or accessing the community and also manage medication and nutrition.Responsibilities of our client?s Support Worker include: - Support customers who are living in supported accommodation.- Provide a Person centred approach of support to enable the person to live independently.- Undertake any personal care duties required for any individual.- Support customers in understanding and sustaining their tenancy.- Provide person centred support, to focus on providing the right amount of support to assist the individual to participates in all areas of their life.- Provide support to customers with wide range of needs both within their own home and in their local area.- Provide opportunities by which customers will be enabled to develop independent living skills.- Support customers to have choice and control around for meaningful engagements; such as activities that the customer would enjoy or aspire to at home or in the local area.- Support customers to recognise the benefits of additional support services related to their individual needs and assist them in accessing these services.- Implement and follow the Support and Risk Management plans.- Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures, giving feedback on content where appropriate and asking for clarification if unsure.- Keep accurate and professional written and IT based records in line with the protocols of the service- Ensure strict protocols are followed around the support of customers and their finances in line with policies and procedures.- Maintain excellent and professional relationships with visitors to the schemes and other stakeholders that may be involved with customer support.- Report to managers any concerns that you may have regarding the quality of the service.What they?re looking for in their Support Worker:- Good interpersonal and organisational skills- Knowledge of professional boundaries- Computer literate- Ability to think on feet, respond to challenging situations and make reasoned decisions- To have respect and honesty for and with others- To work as a team member and understand the importance of support to colleagues and good communication- To be flexible and adaptable- Ability to communicate well and offer appropriate support- Understanding and non-judgemental- Willingness to undertake all appropriate trainingBenefits of becoming our client?sSupport Worker:- 25 days leave plus bank holidays- Paid Mileage at 45p per mile- Up to 4% pension contribution matched 1:1- Spot Bonus awards- Long Service awards- Paid Induction Training- Paid Enhanced DBS- Annual pay reviewIf you feel have the skills and experience to become our client?s Support Worker please click ?apply? today, they?d love to hear from you!Closing date: 30th December 2019
