Job Description

IT TechnicianNantwich/Hybrid WorkingCirca £35k On behalf of our growing client based near Nantwich, we are recruiting for a talented IT Technician. As IT Technician, you will identify software, hardware, and network issues, and ensure swift resolution of all support cases to minimise business downtimeand escalation.The IT Technician will be responsible for:

  • Ensure IT Support calls and Helpdesk tickets are either adopted promptly for second-line support or quickly assigned to the relevant team area of expertise support.
  • Install, upgrade, relocate, and provide support for office IT equipment and end-user software within the company, including PCs, copiers, printers, projectors, and mobile devices.
  • Maintaining contact with both internal and external customers to provide regular updates through to issue resolution in a courteous manner.
  • Regularly check and maintain the company server hardware, backups, operating systems, and software in conjunction with organisations providing support.
  • Regularly check and maintain our network infrastructure software/hardware in conjunction with organisations providing support.
The IT Technician will have the following:
  • Excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills
  • A strong understanding and general interest in IT concepts
  • Experience in providing IT support in a fast-paced industrial environment
  • The ability to work confidentially and in observation of company communication policies
  • Experience in supporting end users on Microsoft Windows 10/11 & Office365
