Job Description

Drain Care Technician - NantwichSalary: £19,800 up to £32,950.00The CompanyMy client is one of the leading providers of quality pest control, fence installation, groundwork/light civils, fence installation, wildlife management and environmental services in the North West and Cheshire area. They are a forward thinking, family owned and run company, established for over thirty years.The Role My client has an opportunity for the right candidate, wanting a long term career in the drainage industry, to join their company. You will be a self-motivated problem solver, enthusiastic and have excellent attention to detail. Experience is not essential. If you are qualified or experienced, they will invest in your development. If you are unqualified, you will have the opportunity to shadow existing team members to help you become a technician.In addition to the very competitive salary, there is an opportunity to increase earnings through commission and bonus schemes. The position also includes twenty eight days paid holiday, a company mobile, tablet, vehicle, clothing, personal protective equipment, tools and other equipment for work use only.Role Responsibilities: Reporting directly to their Drain Care Manager

  • You will service new and existing clients based in Cheshire and surrounding counties.
  • Provide fast response callouts
  • Provide routine drainage service inspections, using modern reporting techniques and innovative solutions
  • The primary working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00; however, flexibility in the role is key as weekend work and out of hours callouts are regular occurrence, managed on a rota system.
  • Essential Skills & Requirements:
  • Previous experience and qualifications are not essential; however, a full UK driving licence is.
  • All applicants must be well organised, have excellent written and verbal skills and ideally have a proven track record in a customer facing position.
  • Appointments will be subject to references, validation of full UK driving licence and qualifications (where applicable) and a successful enhanced DBS check.
