Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse operative with a Reach FLT licence to join a busy warehouse for our client based in Murton. Hours of work will be day shift Monday to Friday 8.00am- 4.00pm. Overtime may be required on occasion.The company do ask for a level of flexibility as there is always the chance that in future successful candidates maybe required to work a days and backs shift rotation. This would be Monday to Friday 6.00am-2.00pm/2.00pm-10.00pm rotating on a weekly basis,this would also come with a pay enhancement of a shift allowance if it was required.The position is temporary-ongoing and could lead to a permanent job for the right candidate. Starting salary increases after 12 weeks from £9.50-£10.40 for day shift, the company also has enhanced overtime premiums.Main duties will include:

Receiving goods
Putting stock away
Replenishment
General warehouse duties
Housekeeping
Picking orders from high level racking using a Reach Truck FLT
Wrapping pallets
Preparing orders for dispatch

Essential Experience:

Previous experience of working within a busy warehouse environment would be extremely beneficial
Flexibility and a good work ethic

Desirable Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a valid Reach Truck Licence which will be ITSSAR or RTITB accredited and has been refreshed with in the last 3 years. Commercial experience working on a Reach Truck would be advantageous.
