We have supported disabled and disadvantaged people to discover their potential and lead a fulfilling, independent life for almost30 years.Support Workers / Lifestyle Co-ordinators - About the Role:We have a fantastic opportunity in Murton in County Durham for a Support Worker to work with a young man who has a learning disability, autism and epilepsy.Here is what our customer is looking for:I am looking for someone to support me Monday to Friday from 12 till 6pm so I can access the community and be as independent as possible. I like to visit many local places, parks and shops. I like to go to the cinema, go out for meals and to meet up with myfriends. I also like to attend a social club every Thursday. Im looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, happy person, preferably with experience of autism and also epilepsy. I have my own car so a driver is essential.You will be required to work closely within a small friendly team.Support Workers / Lifestyle Co-ordinators - About you:You do not need to be experienced, but it is essential that you share our values. You must have a positive attitude and want to improve the lives of people with physical and learning disabilities.
