Job Description

Domus are proud to be working with a leading national charity providing specialist support for adults with acquired brain injury to recruit for a Registered Service Manager at one of their services in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire.The role would be perfect for a dedicated and competent Manager with a proven track record in managing residential services. You will ideally have experience in working with adults with an acquired brain injury or associated complex needs, although thisis not essential. The successful candidate would be tasked with the running of this relatively new service on the outskirts of Llanelli.This fantastic service provides assessment and rehabilitation, continuing rehabilitation and a range of transitional living options to support those progressing to greater independence.Key Responsibilities of a Registered Service Manager:

  • Overall responsibility for the management of all aspects of the service ensuring the highest quality standards of diagnosis specific care and treatment are met, driven by the needs of the individual.
  • Lead, manage and direct a multidisciplinary team
  • To meet full compliance in line with the requirement of the regulatory body and relevant legislation.
  • To market the service to all potential commissioners and referrers with the key aim of creating new business opportunities.
  • To manage organic and planned change within the service, to meet the demands of new business.
Registered Service Manager Requirements:
  • Experience in residential management, ideally with experience in acquired brain injury or an interest in ABI.
  • QCF (NVQ) level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification in Social Care/Health which meet Regulatory Requirements or a commitment to work towards.
  • In depth knowledge of statutory requirements such as CIW regulations and outcomes.
  • The ability to manage and guide of staff via formal supervisions and appraisals to maintain and improve quality and morale.
