We have more than 4,000 dedicated colleagues, at 14 locations across the country, all sharing the same obsession for our great food.Job description:Learning and Development AdvisorBased in MoretonRole Purpose:We have an exciting opportunity to work with the HR Manager to develop a learning culture on site and lead the Moreton site in learning and development associated activities to ensure that the appropriate training is delivered and evaluated for its impact. To assist with the communication processes for the site including being the site Communications Champion.What you will be doing:

  • Assist the HR Manager in creating the site Learning and Development strategy and setting clearly defined KPIs ensuring alignment with the site strategy
  • To act as Training Sponsor working with the Training Co-ordinator. · Implement people development initiatives including the completion of training needs analysis with each team manager
  • Ensure effective functional delivery of training and development activities through site training resources providing recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure the site delivers business/site training needs to the agreed timescales
  • Work with the external training partners to organise workshops and events as part of the Management Academy
  • Liaise with Central Organisational Development Team to ensure achievement of the Premier Learning and Development strategy including promotion of the Agile Learning Library
  • Manage the site training budget tracking spend with training providers and training broker
  • Work with HR Manager to review and evaluate training and engineering apprenticeship programmes for compliance with government standards
  • What we need from you:
  • At least two years’ experience in a Training role
  • Experience of working in a FMCG environment dealing with different shift complexities
  • IT literate – be proficient in the use of MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Budget management skills
  • Exercise a good degree of attention to detail
  • Be used to and confident in dealing with all levels of managers and suppliers/contractors
  • Ability to lead and influence initiatives to final conclusion
  • Analytical ability
