We have some exciting Store Manager opportunities here at McColls. We are looking for: Store Managers - You will be assigned to a specific store- Support Store Managers - You will provide support and cover to our stores and travel as reasonable - Essentialyou are able to drive/travel to various locations as required ..Here at McColls we pride ourselves on being the second largest multiple convenience operator in the UK and our continued success depends entirely on the dedication of our store colleagues andmanagement teams. As a Store Manager youll lead by example as this role is about inspiring the team around you to deliver the highest level of service to our customers, whilst ensuring that all colleagues are happy, motivated, well trained and feel proudof their role within the local community. Its a varied and challenging role that requires excellent leadership and communication skills ,along with a hands-on management approach. You will also be required to maximise sales by consistently delivering excellentstore standards. Key responsibilitiesTo lead, support and motivate the store colleagues to provide exceptional standards of customer serviceDrive sales by ensuring the store is fully stocked and well merchandisedFull accountability for all cash andstock controls within the storeTo take responsibility for the organisation and communication of store related activities such as training, induction, recruitment and resolving any HR issues. This role requires a flexible approach, as you will be requiredto work early mornings and some late nights. In recognition of the additional responsibility that managing a Post Office brings, this position attracts a discretionary supplement.
