Job share considered.Salary: From £13,064.00 per year (depending on experience)Start date: ImmediateSkills and qualificationsEssential: Must have a level 3 in childcare; Diploma for the Children and Young Peoples Workforce or Diploma for the Early Years Workforce. Level 2 in childcare considered if obtained prior to 2014 A keen interest in child development and Patience and enthusiasm Imagination and creativity Being able to work as part of a teamDesirable: Previous experience working as part of an Early years teamThe role: Working to Early Years Foundation Stage standards on child learning Facilitating learning and development through a range of activities Reading stories and and helping children learn number skills Helping children to learn new skills Promoting childrens independence and individuality Observe childrens progress and keep records to share with parents Making sure children are safe and reporting any concerns Feeding and changing babies and supporting personal hygiene needs General cleaning of areas during shift and at shift end, when necessary To work 40 hours a week between the hours of 7am - 6pm (8 hours a day on a rota basis).NEW HORIZONS DAY CAREPractitioner
