Job Description

I4 Recruitment are working exclusively with a successful manufacturing business to recruit a hands-on practical Production Engineer with Medical Device experience for their facility based in Mildenhall, Suffolk. The main purpose of the role will be to supportthe production of a range of innovative medical devices, including new product introduction and improvement of existing production processes.Ideally youll have a keen interest in healthcare technology and production processes, be highly organized with good team building and communication skills and have a proven experience in medical device production.Some responsibilities will include:

  • Implementation of new product production processes and procedures which will include working closely with the Design team by supporting them in the design, concept and development of product manufacturing equipment.
  • Produce production documentation within ISO 13485 QMS.
  • Day to day running of production activities including: Working to meet KPIs, Ensure preventive actions are taken to maximise success & continuous production Improvement.
  • Supporting productivity improvements and capacity expansion projects including: Scrap reduction, Quality improvements & Efficiency improvements.
Ideally youll have some of the below:
  • Proven experience in the production or manufacturing of medical products.
  • Relevant qualifications within an engineering or manufacturing discipline.
  • Experience of a variety of production processes.
  • Problem solving awareness (e.g. A3,8D etc)
