Job Description

Serve Talent are proud to be working with a successful manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Mouldshop Technician for their facility based in Mildenhall, Suffolk.This particular business have grown year-on-year consistently. Reporting into the Operations Manager and working alongside the wider Manufacturing team, youll be responsible for the setting and operating of injection moulding machines to manufacture precisioncomponents from a range of different materials.Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Assist in the maintaining of product output in the Mould shop.
  • Oversee day to day production working in conjunction with Production control & provide support to the mould shop team.
  • Set up new tools/materials & also carry out or assist with existing tool changeovers.
  • Diagnose faults and repair or organise service engineers for Mould Machines and associated Equipment.
  • Complete and update tasks using a Maintenance based software.
Some skills youll ideally have:
  • Youll be familiar with Injection Mould Machines, preferably Arburg and Boy.
  • At least 5 years experience working in a Manufacturing/Engineering environment.
  • Youll possess a very good mechanical aptitude and be able to diagnose faults associated with Machine/tooling wear and component quality
  • Youll be familiar with ISO 9001:2015 and have strong communication skills, being able to discuss problems and issues with all levels of personnel.
