Our client, one of Londons leading universities, is currently looking to recruit a temporary Senior Library Assistant to provide supervisory cover to the library team, operations, and services as required. This is a full-time on-site role running untilJuly 24 in the first instance. Evening cover may be required on occasions, with notice.The post-holder will provide training and clinical support services at the university’s Stanmore campus. Reporting to the Training and Clinical Support Librarian and working closely with the skills team, you will contribute to the delivery of specialistenquiry and mediated literature searching services, take part in the delivery of library skills sessions, and assist with promoting and facilitating the use of a range of biomedical library resources. You will also support customer services, including staffingthe library enquiry and service desk.To be considered, we are seeking candidates who have worked in a similar field, ideally a library environment or has experience delivering a high level of customer service. You will have experience of preparing and delivering training, especially informationskills training and can work as part of a team, including ability to motivate fellow team members.
