Ideal candidate would be hardworking and compassionate. SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible or inSeptember when school resumes from summer break. This is a full time role.The school is an Ofsted Outstanding school that aims to provide a creative and practical learning environment. There is a special focus on achievement and the development citizen skills and independence. The schools values success and are very passionateabout their students achievements and would want their SEN Teaching Assistant to aim for the same!As a SEN Teaching Assistant your role will include:Assist classroom teacher in preparing learning materialsWorking 1:1 with a student that has SEMH so taking care of social, emotional and physical welfare is essentialMaintaining a vibrant and stimulating learning environmentHelping the student stay engaged and focussed on the lessonAn ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will be experienced, hardworking and passionate about bringing a change to these SEN students. Any experience through previous SEN settings or youth workshops or care homes are desirable as it will be really transferable in thisrole but it is not a requirement.
