Job Description

JOB – Quality Control Manager – Pharmaceutical / BiopharmaLOCATION – MiddlesexTERM- PermanentSALARY – up to £40,000 - £50,000 (dependant on experience) We are looking for a Quality Control Manager on a permanent basis in the Middlesex area with experience in the pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical industry. Your main duties will be overseeing the Quality Control team on a dual sterility site. The QC Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Qualified in Pharmaceutical / Biopharmaceutical / Chemistry ideally Degree OR Qualified by experience.
  • Previous experience working in a similar Quality Control Manager position.
  • Good Knowledge GMP manufacturing.
  • Proven experience of managing a quality control team.
  • Able to communicate with other members of the team.
  • Experience of testing and analysis using instrumentational analysis.
  • Capable of overseeing the auditing function.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Understanding of VMD (Veterinary Medicines Directorate) – Advantageous
  • Knowledge of both Sterile and Non-sterile manufacturing.
  • Experience in Vaccine manufacturing - Advantageous
  • Ability to work independently.
  • The QC Manager role will involve:
  • Lead the Quality Control team in day to day activities to ensure a high quality of product.
  • Work with other members of Quality Control to ensure procedures are GMP Compliant.
  • Oversee the auditing process for manufacturing.
  • Ensure that test methods are followed correctly.
