Job Description

Junior Designer MedwayMonday to Friday – Office based. £22,000My client, a forward-thinking company based in Medway are looking to recruit a Junior Designer to join their growing company. This role would suit a graduate or a candidate who has an interest in design. A successful junior designer should be able to createaccuratedesigns, be open to learning more and create impressive designs that promote the sales process.Duties include:

  • Creating designs and quotation according to initial customer specifications
  • Study briefs and determine requirements
  • Produce initial and final design solutions with minimal improvements needed
  • Pitch creative ideas
  • Answering inbound calls and handle them as needed
  • Supporting the team throughout execution of campaigns and projects
  • Updating databases.
The successful candidate must have/be:
  • Experience with design software (Desirable)
  • Understanding of visual elements (layout, type and fonts)
  • Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude
  • Good organisational skills that support the rest of the team
  • Design Techniques
