Job Description

Contract Type: Agency Temp (3months initial contract)Salary: Up to £35kJob Elements

  • Providing first line support for all HR calls for both external and internal queries.
  • Create and maintain all Human Resources electronic files for all current employees including fixed term contracts, contractors, and temporary staff.
  • Writing and filing of letters, forms and documents.
  • Provide assistance when needed with meeting notes for various HR events and processes.
  • Maintenance and housekeeping of the HR central electronic filing system.
  • Provide support for updating policies and loading to internal intranet.
  • Informing managers in a timely manner as to when temporary contracts are due to expire.
  • Support in the coordination and delivery of exit interviews with all leavers across the site.
  • Provide Finance with quarterly stats for National Stats office.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 3 years of Generalist HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Working towards CIPD qualification
  • Excellent level of IT skills in Microsoft Office including a good understanding of computerised databases preferably within Oracle PeopleSoft systems.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative to enable prioritisation of work to deliver multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A good communicator who can operate in a team environment at all levels of the business and establish good working relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in handling matters of a highly confidential nature.
