Job Description

Estimating and Procurement ManagerMid Kent£35,000 -£40,000Monday – Friday Are you a proactive, detail – orientated and experienced procurement professionalDo you possess exceptional estimating and procurement skillsMy client is a leading production based company who are committed to delivering high-quality services.Duties:

  • Managing a team of four.
  • Raising official work orders for production jobs
  • Raise and approve purchase orders
  • Liaison with sales, QA, logistics, production, planning and finance departments
  • Establishing relationships with suppliers and business contacts
  • Identifying areas of process improvements
  • Ensuring stock control
  • Establishing relationships with suppliers and business contacts
  • Checking and authorizing estimates
  • Training and participating in the recruitment processes for team members
The successful candidate must have/be:
  • Technical expertise
  • Previous supervisory experience essential
  • Previous experience of working in purchasing and estimating
  • Organised Methodical approach to work
  • Experience of supplier negotiation
