Position: Project Manager/Senior Project ManagerLocation: Rickmansworth or HamptonSalary Guide: £60-80k (neg DOE), car/allowance and excellent benefits packageOur Client: Is an integrated design and build solution provider operating in the water sector. They have over 1,000 staff working across eight regional centres, primarily supporting six long term water sector frameworks operating both on their own and increasinglyin joint ventures and alliances.The Role: Our client is looking to strengthen their delivery team with a number of Project Managers and Senior Project Manager for their joint venture framework. You will support the design phase and manage the construction, commissioning phases, by settingup contracts and ensuring they are completed in the most efficient manner.Duties: You will report directly to the Operations Manager and the responsibilities will include:Oversee the activities of Project Managers and the project delivery teams to ensure that works are delivered on time, to budget and to specification.Maintain a strategic level overview of the project execution and escalate any problems for resolution.Liaise with clients staff.Oversee the risk management process.Promote exceptional safety and delivery quality standards to direct and subcontracted work force.Ensuring, in conjunction with the Design Manager, that an adequate Technical, Safety and Environmental review is carried out to ensure successful delivery.Ensuring that appropriately detailed construction plans and method statements are prepared, in place and approved prior to commencement of activities.Maintain an appropriate practical knowledge and appreciation of all technical disciplines associated with delivering the project.Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the water, wastewater, construction or process industries.Extensive experience in project delivery.Working knowledge of CDM and construction health and safety.Minimum HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in a construction or engineering related discipline.Must be delivery driven with the ability to set targets and manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver to time, cost and quality objectives.Relevant CSCS card.Key Words:Project ManagerProject ManagementProject DeliveryProject ExecutionProgramme ManagementProgramme ManagerTechnical DeliveryConstructionEngineeringContractsContractualConditions of ContractWater IndustryWater SectorWater TreatmentWaste WaterWastewaterSewageUtilities
