Job Description

We are extremely proud of our significant growth trajectory, and have ambitious growthplans for new branch openings nationwide.Eurocell Recycle North (formerly Ecoplas) part of the Eurocell PLC group of companies, are now looking for experienced Drivers to join our transport team on a permanent basis. We are looking for 7.5t and / or Class 2 professional Drivers to collect upvc plasticwindow frames and lengths from various locations throughout the UK and deliver these to a number of tipping sites nationwide.This role is physically demanding as it involves the manual handling and lifting of u-PVC door and window frames (up to 5metre lengths)Shifts:MondayFriday 40 hours per weekWeekend work, regular overtime and nights out available3-4 nights out

Duties:
- Collection of old UPVC windows on a national basis
- Daily reporting and liaising with transport management office
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and that H&S standards are adhered to
- Manage own workload efficiently and ensure all required documentation is completed
- Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks ensuring any defects found are reported
- This is a physical role, which involved as much manual handling as driving.
- Ensure company reporting procedures are followed
- You will be expected to work out your run in the most efficient way as these are subject to change if other jobs take priority
- Carry out collections to our internal and external customers in a professional manner

Key Skills / Experience:
- Must hold a Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification.
- Team player and have a polite manner as you will be representing Eurocell when out on the road
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK and Working Time Directive
- Highly adaptable, resilient and tenacious with high levels of energy and drive
- Be physically fit with a certain level of physical strength in order to load and unload
- Proven track record of driving vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
- Willing to get your hands dirty and chip in with ad-hoc tasks as they arise
