Job Description

My wonderful client is looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join its finance team.Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of three
  • Managing team performance, conducting 1:1s, carrying out quarterly performance reviews and managing day to day requests (annual leave and other absence)
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the accounts payable
  • Managing large monthly payment runs and smaller adhoc payments
  • Invoice processing - overheads, capex
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Liaising with customers to ensure queries are resolved on a timely basis
  • Dealing with month end
Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience as an Accounts Payable Supervisor
  • Experience of managing an accounts payable team
  • Ability to build solid working relationships with colleagues within the business
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • AAT or ACCA / CIMA part-qualified (advantageous)
  • Sage 200 experience (advantageous)
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and to multitask
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Self-motivated and organised
