We now have an exciting opportunity for talented insurance lawyers to join our Property Risks and Coverage Team. This roleis based in one of our offices in Bolton, situated in Head Quarters on The Parklands. Flexible working is encouraged for the right candidates.Our cases require a collaborative approach and you will be part of a team handling commercial liability and quantum claims. You will also be running your own small personal caseload but always with the support of other, more experienced lawyers.This caseload involves acting for most of the leading UK insurers on issues ranging from impact damage, fires, escapes of water, escapes of oil, subsidence, collision damage as well as boundary disputes, trespass and nuisance claims.Compensation packageHyrbrid working 1 day in the office, 4 days remote,Health Care Cash Plan, Holidays 25 days plus 8 bank holidays (opportunity to buy & sell 3 days) increasing to 26 after 5 years’ service and to 27 after 10 years’ service, Death In Service - after 1 year,Employer Pension Contribution, Cycle to Work Scheme, Tech Scheme, Season Ticket Loan*, Gym FlexThe role has a particular focus on policy coverage, subrogated recoveries and defended liability claims and the work will involve advising a number of well-known insurers directly on issues of liability, quantum and policy coverage in respect of claims asnoted above.The role will also involve advising insurer clients on issues of first party fraud and close working with insurer clients in respect of complaints to the FOS.Key accountabilities for the role will include:
