Job Title: Junior Fabrication Design EngineerLocation: BedwasSalary: £23,000 - £25,000 per annumHours: Full time Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm Friday 8am - 3pmHere at The Recruitment Co we are currently recruiting a Junior Fabrication Design Engineer.Due to continued growth, one of the UKs leading Fencing Contractors is currently seeking a Junior Fabrication Design Engineer to work full time out of their South Wales office.We are a well-established organisation in the Fencing industry. As a Company we supply a wide range of perimeter fencing, steel fencing, noise barriers, gates and gate automation products, to a variety of commercial, industrial and educational organisationsacross the UK.We are now looking to recruit a Junior Fabrication Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will ideally have some previous experience within the Fabrication Industry. Full training will be given. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, drivenand looking to join a growing organisation.Key Skills

Create Detailed drawings for issue to manufacturing
Ensure designs are within budget by working closely with our estimators and sales team.
Design cost effective solutions utilising standard components and manufacturing techniques wherever possible.
Create long term working relationships with our customers by delivering a strong value based offering and exemplary customer service.
Consult with customers at site to understand their needs and requirements.
Mechanical engineering background with design knowledge and relevant qualifications would be beneficial.
Ability to hand sketch and measure at customer sites.
Working knowledge of 2D Auto-CAD package.
Capacity to learn on the job and implement learning as required.
Able to plan time effectively to maximize daily output.
Flexible approach to working to ensure the job gets done.
Excellent people skills both internal and external.
Comfortable working under their own initiative and working as part of a team.
Sound verbal and written communication skills.
