Job Description

Technical Consultant - Java Development / Integration – French SpeakingMy client is a leading technology consultancy and they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Consultant to join their dynamic team. They are a leading technology solutions provider, specialising in delivering cutting-edge integration projectsfor our clients.This role requires French language skills along with a technical skill set in Java Development and/or Integration.Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and technical needs for integration projects.
Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust Java-based solutions to meet client specifications.
Provide expert guidance and technical support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful integration and deployment.
Conduct comprehensive testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to integration and Java development.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Java development with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing integration solutions using technologies such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, JMS, or ESBs.
Fluent in both spoken and written French, with excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to work on integration projects, preferably in a consulting or client-facing role.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Apache Camel, or IBM Integration Bus.
Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and their practical implementation.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Certifications in Java programming or integration technologies would be advantageous.
