Job Description

Robertson Bell are pleased to be supporting a London-based Membership Body to recruit an interim Finance Director on an initial six-month contract.Our client is a well-established, multi-faceted, organisation eager to expand their reach across the UK while continuing to provide a high level of service to their members.Key focal points of the Finance Director role will include:

Concluding the year end process; finalising the statutory accounts and acting as the main point of contact for auditors.
Supporting the wider Executive Team, Heads of Service and Board from a financial perspective; presenting and commentating on monthly accounts, budgets, financial plans and other key reports.
Driving the diversification and growth of the organisations income, working closely with the Business Development Manager on new commercial agreements.
Overseeing the day today finance operations, including the management of a Finance Manager and Finance Assistant.

The post-holder will need to be in the office twice per week.The successful candidate will be:

A seasoned Finance Director with extensive experience operating as the number one in finance.
Comfortable operating in both a strategical and operational capacity, taking a hands-on approach to tasks while also delegating effectively to direct reports.
Familiar with the business and finance structure of a Membership Body through previous work in such organisations.
CCAB or CIMA qualified.
Available immediately to interview and commence a new contract.
