Job Description

Carbon60 are recruiting for an experienced Engineering Estimator to work for a global leader in fluid engineering and chemical processing applications. This Engineering Estimator position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The ideal candidate is someone who has a technical understanding of pumps and rotating equipment. Role Responsibilities: In this role you will form a key part of the service centre team, carrying out technical estimating and generation of quotations.

  • Handling customers request for quotes. Highlighting areas of concern or focus
  • Raising of enquiries in their system (salesforce)
  • Liaising with customer contacts to fully understand their requirements in relation to quotation return date, technical scope, delivery, and quantity.
  • Obtaining supplier/ sub-contractor pricing as required.
  • Formulate detailed commercial quotations and send them to the customer.
Skills and Experience required:
  • Experience with and an understanding of rotating equipment.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft applications
  • Working knowledge of mechanical workshop processes and repair principles
