* On site working with 1 day each week to work remote* Study support if neededSummary: Assistant HR ManagerOn site working with one day remoteIf you are looking for exposure, an opportunity to develop your HR skills and be able to work to your full potential this is a great opportunity. You will be part of a HR team second to the HR Manager. The position is varied, offering plenty of employee relationsexposure and the opportunity to work with managers to advise on best practices, policy and procedures.This position would suit someone who already has line management experience perhaps wanting more specific exposure to HR or has a background in department management where they have lots of experience to disciplinary, grievance, absence, 121s, people managementand wanting to get into a more focussed HR career. Similarly would suit someone who is in Human resources ready for a next step up and sees the long term prospect. The role itself* Working closely with managers to advise on policy, practice and procedures* Manage employee relations caseload to include disciplinary, grievance and absence* Support and coach managers on all of the above and attend as required* Recruitment and selection across the departments* Work with the HR Manager on any projects* Support managers on staffing and structure* Manage the absence process* Deputise for the HR Manager* Contribute to the development of HR teamThe Candidate * You will have energy, confidence and accountability in your position* Be an excellent communicator and be able to develop strong working relationships* Employee relations experience* A sound knowledge of employment law* Ideally working towards CIPDConsortium Professional Recruitment Ltd are a professional level recruitment consultancy specialising in the delivery of high relevance recruitment services on behalf of our clients across the UK.
