Our client is looking to recruit a Commercial Account Handler to join their expanding team. This is a busy position, handling new and existing commercial business. The candidate would be expected to handle telephonic and e-mail enquiries from new and existingcustomers and assist Account Executives in their duties. This would entail dealing with clients in keeping with FSA guidelines, obtaining risk information, preparing risk presentations for submission to Insurers and underwriters.The applicant should be focused on maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure client retention and securing new business in conjunction with Account Executives. The candidate will be expected to handle instructions from existing clients aswell as deal with renewals. The role also involves data capture, underwriting, production of policy documentation and written correspondence with clients and insurers.The candidate must be able to work to a high FSA standard without daily supervision.The PersonThe successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years commercial broking experience. They will be confident and have good written and oral skills. You will have the ability to build good relationships with both clients and Insurers/underwriters.
