Operations Manager

Job Description

CRP Group are currently recruiting an Operations Manager to run a high performing engineering branch based in Aberdeen.The successful Operations manager will be working for UK & Irelands leading network of hydraulix hose experts.Key Functions & Responsibilities

• Overall management of the Centre and the Technicians
• Responsible for the centres P/L
• Organise and hold regular staff meetings/safety briefings/toolbox talks
• Ensure only adequately trained and competent personnel work in an unsupervised role
• Ensure the operation of the Centre and the Technicians complies with UK/European legislation
• Ensure any communication from customers is effectively handled including complaints
• Ensure the Centre is well presented a tall time and fully complies with agreed opening times
• Ensure pricing of work is done fairly, consistently and to UK guidelines
• Be the Quality Management Representative to ensure Health &Safety, Quality Management and Environmental Management systems are managed and maintained to ISO standards
• Provide technical and sales support to the Technicians
• Effectively supervise and appraise staff.
• Regularly assess Technicians work on customers equipment
• Manage stock control at the operation

• Very good communication skills both orally and in writing
• Able to represent the operation with customers
• Good technical knowledge of hydraulics and hydraulic hose assembly, City and Guilds 2340
• Minimum of three years experience onthevan is preferred

Work Experience

• Minimum of five years work experience
• Work experience in a technical/engineering environment

Educational Requirements

• Minimum GCSE level education in English and Maths
