GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a lead provider of automation engineering services and solutions that supply a wide range of industries, including automotive, rail, aerospace, pharmaceutical and food and beverage.We are recruiting on their behalf for an experienced Stores & Logistics Operator to join their team on a full time, permanent contract, located on their manufacturing site in Kidderminster.This position is working 39 hours per week Monday - Thursday 07:30am - 16:30pm with a Friday finish of 12:30pm, offering a salary up to £28K per annum pending relevant experience.As the business continues to grow at a rapid pace, the Stores & Logistics Operator will be an instrumental support to the team by managing deliveries and unloading equipment, so we are looking for candidates to demonstrate previous experience in stores andlogistics, ideally within manufacturing.It is preferred you have an FLT license and experience with MRP systems.Stores & Logistics Operator main duties:

Taking deliveries and unloading equipment
Booking in deliveries into the company systems
Inspection
Storing and kitting
Machinery & equipment checks
Supporting factory efficiency, safety & tidiness
Maintaining documentation & packaging
Preparing equipment for delivery
Carrying out deliveries and collections in the local area

Stores & Logistics Operator desired skills and experience:

Previous experience in Logistics ideally within manufacturing
Forklift operator licence (Client ill refresh certification if necessary)
Experience with MRP
Highly organised, proactive approach and a can do’ attitude to problem solving.
Strong attention to detail.
High levels of initiative, energy and have passion and dedication for completing tasks to the highest standards.
Ability to work effectively as an individual, as well as part of the wider centre team.
