You must hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare or early years education and have relevant experience working in a pre-schoolor nursery setting. The ideal candidate’s qualifications equip them with a solid understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.Having excellent communication skills is key when working as part of a team & support young learners, both verbal and non-verbal, enabling you to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Clear communication fosters positive relationshipsand ensures effective collaboration in supporting childrens development.The pre-school team are seeking someone who is creative and resourceful in designing and implementing engaging activities that stimulate childrens curiosity, creativity, and imagination. You are ideally able to confidently adapt activities to cater to individualinterests, abilities, and learning styles.The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills and use these to assess childrens progress, identify areas of development, and plan appropriate interventions. They must understand the importance of documentation and use observations to informplanning and decision-making.The pre-school team are looking for a nursery nurse who works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to provide holistic support to children and their families. They must contributepositively to the team dynamic, sharing ideas, offering support, and celebrating successes together.As a nursery nurse working with young children, you serve as a positive role models for young children, exhibiting kindness, respect, and integrity in their interactions.
