SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Kidderminster
Salary: £20,941 - £22,835 per annum
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm

Reed is excited to partner with a brand-new school in Kidderminster in their search for experienced Teaching Assistants. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to support class teachers and foster supportive relationships with pupils, aiding theirpersonal development in a nurturing environment. Day to Day of the Role:

Support pupils with their learning and general wellbeing, ensuring every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Assist with care needs, implement positive behaviour management strategies, and adopt tailored approaches to individual children’s needs.
Contribute to the delivery of high-quality and challenging educational activities by supporting the teaching of the curriculum.
Work collaboratively with the class teacher and other staff to create a caring and safe learning environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

A warm and caring personality that resonates with children and staff.
Effective and positive behaviour management skills.
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within SEN settings.
DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
