Job Description

Company Description:We are a team that love Innovation, thrive on technology, and deliver our customers requirements to the best of our abilities.We are a Microsoft Gold Partner based in Worcestershire (and remotely), delivering all types of web applications from CMS driven websites, complete business management solutions and taxation software used by well-known blue-chip companies.As a successful, expanding company, we are looking for a new member to join our technology team who will add knowledge, support and strength to our existing team and help us continue to drive the business forward into the future utilising new technologieswith fresh, dynamic ideas for both us and our clients.Role and responsibilities:Due to continued growth across the business, we are looking for multiple candidates to work closely with the IT / Programming Team, who will help deliver technical solutions to solve client needs.The work will be very varied and often fast paced; anything from a simple data integration for a CMS driven website, extending to the building and maintaining of extensive customer systems.You will be working as one of 5 .net developers, so teamwork is a must.With expansion of the team in the future, you must be able to provide technical expertise and guidance to the team throughout the development process to ensure objectives are met on-time and on budget.You should have the following essential skills:

  • At least 2 years demonstrable experience in developing solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies including C#, ASP.NET, Web Services, MVC, .net Core and IIS.
  • A solid understanding of APIs and REST principles.
  • Be able to implement and use Dev Op practices.
  • Demonstrable experience in working with both SQL (Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL databases.
  • A cloud first mindset and experience in developing solutions in an enterprise environment at scale for the Microsoft Azure platform.
  • Experience of developing in an Agile environment and adhering to the value and principles of agile software delivery.
  • Experience in developing solutions using Xamarin (.NET Mobile) is highly advantageous.
  • Experience of using Docker in a commercial environment is highly advantageous.

Academic qualifications: Microsoft / Azure certification (highly advantageous)Salary GBP £35-50k dependant on experience.Remote working. Travel to the office as and when required in Kidderminster (DY10)
