Whats in it for mePeople Solutions are seeking an experienced CAM/CAD Design Engineer to join their team based in Kidderminster. The salary is £25,000 - £30,000 based on experience.Working with a team of two other engineers,you will be responsible for creating design plans for the building and construction industry. The business has invested significantly in Amada punching and laser machinery which requires a talented and driven individualto liaise with both the operations manager and the production manager to ensure all machinery is used to its best capacity.You will be working Monday - Friday 40 hours per weekDay to Day Duties Read, interpret and design a range of products in 3D modelling using SolidWorks and SigmaNest and DR ABE ( Amada Nesting Softwarepreferred but not essential ) Communicate with Surveyors,Estimators and Production to meet tight deadlines, whilst consistently producing quality documents Experienced in programming CNC machine tools, preferably Laser Cutters or Punching Machines Ability to interpret customers designs and then create technical drawings and programs for use in the factory A driven individual who can work under pressure to achieve deadlines Adapting to different working environments; from the programming office, to customer meetings to the shop floor. Communicating with management to keep informed of work status and can support production to meet the customers requirements.Essential Skills An understanding of sheet metal manufacturing processes Proficient in use of SolidWorks and SigmaNest Ability to identify and problem solve independently and within a team environment Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication Superior time management abilities and capable of meeting deadlines Must possess team building skills and communicate with all other departments throughout the organisation Follow Health & Safety Policy & ProceduresDesirable ExperienceAmada punching and laser machinery experience would be desirableWhat training is providedFull training is providedContactApply today by clicking below or giving our team a call onPhone:Please apply via advert
