We are delighted to be recruiting for Sheet Metal Workers, on behalf of our client in Kidderminster.Overall purpose of job: To finish aluminium components to A Class standard To work as part of the Manufacturing Team to satisfy customer demand in a productive and safe manner, whilst ensuring required Quality standards are metPrincipal Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Adhering to Company Quality Systems Adhering to Company Product Quality Standards particularly Working as part of a team in a high quality manufacturing environment Using a hand sander, linishers and grinders The ability to lift and tap down and finesse metal defects Checking that quality conforms to company and client specifications prior to dispatch Operating processes as requested once trained Adhering to housekeeping disciplines where specified Maintaining company plant machinery and equipment when requested Producing components in accordance with work instructions, customer requirements, and to specified rates of production Ensuring all gauges, fixtures and visual aids are kept clean and in good condition, reporting any damage and/or corrective actions Performing routine operator maintenance and checks on all tools and equipment used Inspecting parts for defects and any potential quality concerns to ensure they meet customer quality specifications Accurate completion of daily work sheets Assisting in Continuous Improvement activities (e.g. SMED) Assisting new product introductions Maintaining a clean and safe work environment following 5S practises Ensuring all Health & Safety practices are being followed and adhered to Undertaking any other duties that may be requested in line with company objectivesIf you would like to apply for this position, please send your CV to Chris Green.
