Job Description

Our marketing team are looking to appoint a Marketing Assistant. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of working in marketing departments.This is a very diverse role incorporating various marketing tasks along with additional administrative duties making the role varied and exciting. The role

  • Main administrator for adding starters and leavers to company intranet, including managing holiday entitlement for individuals
  • Main point of contact for actioning and resolving intranet support tickets
  • Main contributor to adding content to company intranet and ensuring only timely content is included (much of which will be supplied by colleagues)
  • Create and engage internal and external content for all channels - intranet, email, social web etc.
  • Update SECOM website with vacancies and new stories
  • Coordinate and produce weekly company internal pdf news bulletin
  • Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data
  • Carry out reporting /marketing analytics to gather data on marketing activities from start to finish (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
The candidate
  • Experience of working in a marketing department
  • Social media/marketing knowledge, such as designing and publishing posts on social channels
  • Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to adopt the brands tone of voice
  • We are looking for candidates with a high degree of attention to detail, ability to ensure quality of work is delivered at a high standard, technologically savvy
  • Ability to multitask, plan and coordinate workload effectively
