Financial Controller£65,000 - £70,000 per annum,Permanent, Hybrid full-timeSurreyReed Finance are pleased to be supporting a successful and growing business who are in need of a new Financial Controller to support the FD by heading up the finance function helping to support business growth and profitability.The successful candidate will be an experienced and technically focused leader with the ability to operate both strategically whilst supporting the wider business operationally.Financial Controllers key tasks will include :Responsibility for completion and submission of divisional and group monthly management accountsResponsibility for completion and submission of annual statutory accounts for each divisionResponsibility of ensuring applicable accounting standards are implemented and in place across each divisionManagement of half year and year end external auditManagement of internal audit reviews and subsequent ownership of action point deliveryManagement of all treasury across divisionsParticipation in budgeting and forecast process in conjunction with Commercial Finance ManagerPreparation and monitoring of weekly cash flow forecastsPreparation and reconciliation of divisional VAT returnsResponsibility for maintaining the fixed asset registerEssential Qualifications / AttributesQualified Accountant with at least 5 years PQEThe ability to provide the financial insight and analysis which enhances decision making and influences strategic direction.Strong technical skills, particularly financial controls and accounting standards, combining commercial and strategic acumen with an into the detail, hands-on approach.Benefits include:Hybrid working availableFree parking on site25 days annual leave plus BHOther niche benefits subject to appointmentThis role will suit a fully qualified, dynamic and energetic senior finance professional .
