Job Description

We currently have several vacancies across the paper machines and winders at our DS Smith Paper MIll in Kemsley.Ideally the candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to deliver high standards.
  • Able to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
  • Possess good communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of Health & Safety and environmental issues associated in the workplace.
    • Knowledge gained in our industry or a manufacturing environment would be a distinct advantage, although training will be given to the right candidate.In all these roles, the applicant is expected to ensure the efficient running of the machinery, to produce product that conforms with the customer defined quality specifications and at the desired rate and that these tasks are carried out if a safe manner.About DS Smith:DS Smith is a leading supplier of recycled packaging, both within the UK market and throughout Europe.
