Achieve together is one of the UK’s leading providers of support for people with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs.If this sounds great to you… Then you’re just what we’re looking for and we’d like to hear from you!What do our Support Workers do Supporting someone isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more.Blue Cottage is a supported living service for individuals aged 18-40 with learning disabilities and/ or autism spectrum conditions transitioning from residential services or the family home.At Blue Cottage individuals are supported to participate in a range of activities, including walking, eating at local restaurants, arts and crafts, swimming and cinema trips to name a few. Additionally several individuals regularly participate in gardening at the service and keep Blue Cottage’s garden tidy.What experience do you need You don’t need to have experience to be a good Support Worker. If you are caring, kind and want to work in a job that is genuinely rewarding, this is for you.You’ll need to have great communication skills and be comfortable making decisions. A basic level of English and Math is also required.What are the Benefits
