This is a brand new role for the organisation to come and be part of the team to drive the Health and Safety culture and engagement in a fast growing, multi site operation. Reporting into the Group Head of Health and Safety, you would be responsible forsome of the administrative HSE tasks as well as being a key part of delivering HSE training, toolbox talks, coaching and engagement across the site, with a need to deliver information to both head office based functions and a large blue collar workforce. You dont need to be the finished article - the business have a track record of upskilling their people and a strong in house L&D and HR team to support you with your development. This would suit someone who is currently a HSE Officer or HSE administrator whowants the next step up in their career or potentially someone who is looking for a career change but can demonstrate strong communication skills (retail management, training etc). The really important thing for this business is attitude - they have a high performing, hard working team who take their jobs seriously but also know how to have fun and as a result, they have created an engaging and positive working culture. The policies, procedures and systems are largely there already from a HSE perspective but they are now really focussed on further driving the culture and engagement of HSE throughout the sites so the ability to bring this to life will be important. In return, the business can offer you a genuine career path, significant training and development and external qualifications to build a strong HSE career and beyond. They are growing extremely quickly with multiple sites and they have significant plans tomore than double the size of their business in the next few years so the ability to grow and develop as they do is important. They have some excellent people in the business and a supportive and encouraging manager that is committed to upskilling and mentoringthe individual that comes into this role. For more information, please contact Daniel Bowes at Radar Recruitment.
