My clientis a firm of UK Chartered Accountants, Chartered Tax Advisers & Registered Auditors specialising in helping international businesses operate in the UK. The firm is looking for a qualified accountant. The firm operates from Islington which has its own cafes, restaurants and shops. The office is a short walk from Highbury & Islington station, less than 10 minutes to Kings Cross or Central London.You will manage your own portfolio of clients and you will have primary responsibility for meeting all of their needs. The firm is committed to delivering services which are of a consistently high quality and you will be responsible for ensuring this. You will need to have a wide range of accounting and taxation skills. You will be encouraged to innovate processes wherever possible.You will have primary responsibility for all aspects of the client relationships, not only delivering of high quality services, but also client relationship management and marketing to clients and prospects.You will have a significant amount of autonomy and status within the firm consistent with the title SeniorAccountant’. You will report directly to the Managing Director. Supervising others will be an integral part of your day to day work. The firm will also want to see you coaching and mentoring.Your personal development will be important to the firm and to that end it would expect you to maintain and develop skills (technical, marketing, relationship management, people) that will enable you to advance your career to Partner level.
