Job Description

Term Time Montessori Teacher - IslingtonSalary: Competitive Fulltime-PermanentThe CompanyOur established and privately owned Montessori nursery are looking for an experienced Montessori Teacher who is passionate about children’s learning and development to join their fun and friendly team.The Role The role is 40 hours a week between the hours of 8am-6pm Monday to Friday / Term Time onlyResponsibilities:

  • Responsible for the delivery of the Montessori Method ensuring children reach their full potential
  • Support children’s learning and progress using Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
  • Planning, observing and assessing children in your care
  • Record keeping
  • Assisting with meal / snack times
  • Ensuring health and safety/ safeguarding standards are met
  • Interacting with parents and updating them on childs progress
  • Liaising with external professionals
  • keen to progress and develop your own knowledge and skills
    • Essential Skills & Requirements:
  • Montessori qualification
  • Previous experience in Montessori nursery
  • Have a minimum of a years teaching experience
  • A first aid qualification is preferred
  • A firm understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice
