Job Description

Job Title: Behaviour Support AssistantLocation: IslingtonSalary Scale: £80- £90 (dependent on experience)Start Date: ASAPGSL Education London is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant for a PRU located in Islington. The school seeks someone to support its students with SEN needs. The selection of applicants will be based on a trial and interview with the school.Behaviour Support Assistant-Education & Training- Behaviour Support Assistant, IslingtonAbout the schoolThis is an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school in all areas of inspection. They offer educational opportunities targeting the needs of specially abled children. Every single element of the school and classroom practice is designed to suit learners with SEN needs. Theteam of Teachers, Tutors and Therapists are highly dedicated to enable children with best possible outcomes.As a Behaviour Support Assistant you will possess the following:

  • Previous experience working as a Behaviour Support Assistant.
  • Skills to improve the behaviour and well-being of individual pupils.
  • Ability to support pupils who are experiencing learning difficulties.
  • Ability to establish meaningful positive relationships quickly.
  • Ability to support pupils inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Help pupils to increase their confidence and self-esteem by listening to them and devising appropriate strategies.
You are required to have the following:
  • The Right to Work in the UK
  • An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through us
  • Two professional child related references
  • An Updated CV
