Our renowned client is an established family business in the East of Scotland. They are seeing consistent growth and are looking to expand their finance function by recruiting for a Divisional Accountant. This is a permanent opportunity that would suit a qualified finance professional that is looking to gain experience at group level.JobThe role of Divisional Accountant has the following responsibilities:

Producing monthly management accounts
Preparing budgets and forecasts
Assisting with annual audit
Preparing MI and reports
Financial modelling, including tenders and bids
Monitoring budget costs and directly communicating with budget holders
Assisting with group level accounting
Liaising with customers on financial and commercial queries
Approving purchases

Improving processes

YouAs Divisional Accountant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

Accountancy qualification (ACCA, ICAS or CIMA)
Existing experience at management accountant level
Superb relationship building skills
Strong analytical/modelling skills
Advanced Excel
Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise workload
Ability to work under pressure
Must be self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
