Job Description

Customer Service Administrator / Sales Order Processor£21,000 - £23,000IlkestonAbout them:My client is one of the leading nationwide distributors of their products and are well established in their industry. Operating from their offices in Ilkeston, which is close to motorway and public transport links, their business has grown rapidlyover the past few years and continues to do so.The role:Due to this rapid growth and continued expansion, they are looking to add a Customer Services Administrator to their friendly team. The Customer Service Administrator will provide excellent customer service by promptly answering all incoming telephonecalls in an efficient and friendly manner. Responding to customers requests, processing orders, and developing and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues. It is a busy but rewarding role within FMCG.Key Duties:

  • Directly dealing with customers over the telephone and email
  • Respond and answer incoming telephone calls as quickly as possible
  • Taking call / order in a friendly manner, supporting the call with all necessary information
  • Sales order processing onto the system
  • Answer any customer queries, obtaining information to respond to customers in the correct manner
  • Maintain sales email inbox and answer all queries professionally
  • Updating customers on the progress of their orders and keeping them updated with ETAs
  • Liaising with internal colleagues/warehouse staff/transport regarding deliveries
Person Specification:
  • Office based, customer service experience - ideally business to business in FMCG
  • Work accurately under pressure and have high attention to detail
  • IT competent - Word and Excel
  • The ability to respond to time frames and deadlines
  • Excellent data entry and keyboard skills
  • Be highly organised in managing own workload
  • Able to adapt to change at short notice
  • Proactive and detail orientated with a flexible attitude
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Professional, highly organised, self-motivated, team player, customer facing
Other Information:
  • Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm (there could be some flexibility around these hours)
  • 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays
