Job Title: Despatch AdministratorLocation: Ilkeston, DerbyshireDuration: Temporary to PermanentWe are currently recruiting for a Despatch Administrator for a temporary to permanent role based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.Reporting to the logistics manager, we are looking for a confident and highly motivated despatch clerk to assist in ensuring the timely delivery of product to customers. You will join the logistics team and work to deliver optimised and efficient logistic arrangementsfor a diverse range of customers.Key Duties & Responsibilities:* Build close relationship with haulage partner.* Ensure haulier and driver compliance databases are well maintained and kept up to date.* Resolve any queries within an appropriate timescale.* Dealing with administrative tasks to support the deliveries.* Designing and maintaining databases to facilitate the smooth running of the department.* Updating shared delivery log with real time information.* Providing a weekly progress report to Assistant Yard Manager.Skills & Experience:* Strong administration skills.* Microsoft packages literate (Word, Excel etc).* Good customer service skills.* General haulage knowledge with geographical awareness.* Experienced in using various IT systems and software packages.* Organised with the ability to prioritise own workload and work under extreme pressure.* Able to work collaboratively with different teams across the business.* Self-motivated with a can-do attitude & a focused mindset.* Eagerness to develop skills, knowledge and abilities in line with the growth across the company.--- Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
